My favourite oil among all my collection that I am writing a post just for it. Saved me twice for diarrea, stomach discomfort, headaches, nausea. It is a must have in my bag.

I have been having frequent migraine (pain on one side of my head), and then I get really gassy and sometimes feels nausea when it gets really serious. I hate to rely on panadol unless I really have to take it because I need to go to work. Otherwise I would always try to sleep it off without medication. But now with the peppermint oil, I can apply it when I feel the headache coming, without having to worry about abusing medication or having overdose or reliance on medication.

One day I was having diarrea, and I went to the toilet 3-4 times already. Then I remembered that I can use peppermint for stomach discomfort so why not try it. I rubbed 1-2 drops on my palm and press it on my tummy. I didnt went back to the toilet after that. Pretty amazing. Just 2 days ago, doc prescribe antibiotic that gave me diarrea, I was outside travelling on the train and felt really horrible. I had to exit the station to find a toilet!! I stayed in the toilet for a while as I worried that I need to run to the toilet again which means I would have to tap out of the station again. I applied peppermint (which I always carry with me) and I felt much better and was able to proceed to my destination.

I remember my boy was down with flu and I brought him to the doctor. Doctor says he was having a low grade fever and asked me to feed him paracetamol. I didn’t want to as it was only low grade fever and I didn’t want to overdose him with medication. But as he was napping his temperature rose. So I tried rubbing peppermint on his back and when he woke up, he perspired and fever was gone. I was also running a little fever as I was down with cough and I applied peppermint too and it does help and fever went away.

Just today, it could be because I didnt had a proper breakfast and meal, my stomach was very bloated and uncomfortable, that I felt really uncomfortable to even sit down. I was working and couldn’t lie down to rest, I thought why not try some peppermint. I rubbed it 2 times (interval of 30 mins) and that feeling went away. I felt normal again and I could still have my dinner.

Sometimes, after a heavy meal, I also apply peppermint to help with my indigestion. Eaten sometime stinky and needed a fresh breathe, rub some peppermint on your tongue.

Now I can’t leave my house without a bottle of peppermint in my bag.
